Seafreedom is based at Strumhor, Connel, near Oban, Scotland. PA37 1PJ 56o27’N 5o23’W

We are on the A82 in the village of Connel, right beside the Falls of Lora. We can launch from a slipway a short trolley pull from the house.

This location gives us access to one of the best coaching locations on the entire coast. We have sheltered and exposed water, quiet bays and a range of currents from barely perceptible to absolutely wild!.

Connel sits bang in the middle of a truly world-class sea kayaking area. Within day trip range, using our trailers and our knowledge of the many local access points, we can explore fifteen islands, seven sea lochs, eight tide-races and a heck of a lot of coastline. We start some trips from right in front of our base.

But we are a mobile operation and have extensive experience of the whole west and north coasts of Scotland and both the Inner and Outer Hebrides. Wherever you want to paddle, we’ll probably be happy to take you paddling there.
